Solar Panel Array

Solar Panel Performance Study

Objective

Assess whether a Citrox®-based solar-panel treatment could improve energy output over a 12-month period.

Methodology

  • Independent 360-day rooftop study

  • Operational system comprising 4,011 solar panels

  • 63 panels treated with a Citrox®-based coating

  • Three assessed arrays: GAK 4, GAK 8 and GAK 14

  • Treated and untreated strings compared under identical conditions

  • Energy output recorded every 15 minutes

  • Same twice-yearly cleaning schedule applied to all panels

 

Results

  • Average energy gain: 5.15%

  • GAK 4: +5.62%

  • GAK 8: +5.22%

  • GAK 14: +4.62%

  • Immediate improvement following application

  • Higher output during peak sunlight

  • Earlier energy generation under low-light conditions

  • Performance gains maintained throughout the study

Bed-Bug Efficacy Study

Objective

Evaluate the insecticidal effectiveness of a Citrox®-based treatment against Cimex lectularius bed bugs.

Methodology

  • Controlled testing conducted in line with EPA guidelines

  • Treatment applied from a distance of 30 cm

  • Five treatment groups and five water-treated control groups

  • Immediate knock-down recorded after application

  • Mortality assessed after 24 and 96 hours

 

Results

  • Immediate knock-down: 100%

  • Mortality after 24 hours: 100%

  • Mortality after 96 hours: 100%
